Belinda Van Eyndhoven
Belinda, the Senior Sustainability Advisor for Beca, is a key force for sustainability and environmental initiatives within the company as well as for a range of high profile clients. She has a strong background in environmental management, planning and resource consenting.

Presentation topic: How and why Beca has embraced sustainability across the business and the strategy and governance behind its initiatives.
Katy Glenie
Katy Glenie is currently working on internal engagement and external promotion of Meridian’s Sustainability Framework. A sustainability communications specialist, Katy’s experience spans both public and private sector organisations in Melbourne, the UK and Wellington; including Sustainability Victoria, Cadbury Schweppes and Unilever.

Presentation Topic: The value of community engagement programs
The relationship between community engagement and Meridian's licence to operate, using Meridian's Community Funds as a model.
Michael Field
Michael is currently the Sustainable Development Manager at BNZ and has more than 13 years experience as a sustainability practitioner. He has published more than 30 papers and articles and is recognised as one of the top ten sustainability practitioners in the world.

Presentation topic: CSR Programmes and People Engagement
Looking at the best way to identify community programmes, through strategic alignment, the different approaches to volunteering, skilled and unskilled, and the different value delivered by both, as well as the critical importance of gaining engagement from people and the best way to achieve that.



The workshop will be facilitated by PwC partner Julia Hoare

Julia leads the PwC New Zealand Climate Change Services practice. She works with New Zealand businesses assisting them with carbon management strategies, greenhouse gas inventories and measurement, verification, compliance, assessing the impact of carbon on a business’ value, and carbon credit trading and creation. She has also assisted the Ministry for the Environment on emission trading scheme related projects.

She is a member of the 2011 Emissions Trading Scheme Review Panel, was a special advisor to the 2009 Emissions Trading Scheme Review Select Committee and was a member of the previous Government’s Climate Change Leadership Forum. Julia has been a partner with PwC for over 18 years focusing extensively on climate change, carbon, tax policy and legislative issues. She is extensively involved in carbon related issues.
