The Sustainable 60 series
The Sustainable 60 series was developed in 2009 and has since been held annually as an Award programme and seminar series.
The programme is promoted and marketed through the Fairfax Media group of brands including business magazines and daily newspapers.
Objectives of the series
- To encourage growth and sustainable business practice amongst all New Zealand public and private sector entities
- Present awards that will celebrate and reward stories of leadership that exemplify sustainable business practice in the five categories
- To showcase innovation that supports sustainable business practice in New Zealand
For the purposes of the series, corporate sustainability focuses on the balance between long term value innovation and social, economic and environmental impacts of business.
